Hey, everybody, welcome to the Ted O'Neill program. This is Monday, and yesterday we hosted the announcement of the Lifted documentary at the new Parkway Theater in Oakland. It was a great gathering of the community, and so many of our athletes shared their inspiring journeys and their great spirit. I was very happy to learn details about their journeys, and I'm excited to see their continuing progress, along with everyone's growing stack of achievements.
On behalf of the Lifted Doc team, I want to thank everyone who shared yesterday; those stories are terrific; there are many of you who have great stories. We haven't all heard stories we haven't yet captured for the film. So, get ready. We may be coming for you.
Yesterday's event was a smashing success. And it was a fundraiser for the initial capital of the film. So, I especially want to thank everyone who came out, spent their Sunday afternoon with us, and gave so generously to get this project off the ground. We feel very strongly about bringing this project to life and getting this message out into the world so that more people can experience the life-altering change that we all know so intimately, and that so many others deserve. And clearly you all feel strongly about it too. We sure appreciate that.
Those of you who dug deep to help us get started: we did very well and we'll be updating the thermometer on the website today to reflect that success. But thank you. Thank you. And I want to thank the Lifted Doc team for hosting that gathering and getting this mission started:
Hayden, whose vision has been amazing and whose execution of it—well, you saw some of it yesterday. It's truly impressive.
Greg, for bringing us all together.
Ashleigh, for keeping us organized and on task.
Amanda, for driving this mission with her relentless creativity.
And of course, Ted and Andrea, for captaining the ship and enabling us all to do what we've done. And continuously reminding us that there's more.
There's so much more. We're just getting started. We're going to resume our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. So, enjoy your training today. And we'll be back. Thanks, everybody.
