EPISODE TRANSCRIPT

Jon:
Welcome to the Ted O'Neill program.
We've spent the first couple of days this week talking about fractals, and we got some large and important concepts down the first couple of days. That's a tough act to follow. So today, being Wednesday, we're going to shift gears and move into yet another big concept.

0:39 Ted:
This is the big one. Yeah. So, we started season three, with what we called the human-machine. And that was a whole week's worth of episodes. Yep, got a couple now on fractals, which is one of the levers so the Para-physical training model is built from the principles, that's human-machine, fractals, and frameworks in the veneer of reality. Then we have a dozen or so of the things we call disciplines, which are action steps. And then we have things like levers, fractals, actually one of the levers, but it sits nicely in this concept of frameworks. Because within any framework, there's this whole series of self-similar repeating patterns. So, let's now define frameworks. Okay. So, one way to look at this in a very general sense, it's the life that was created for us that we don't even question why is this important? First off? It's kind of a long pause. Yeah, the life that has created for us that we don't even question and so in other words, in some of this is geographic, you know, so this is there's a fractal relationship here. There's, there's the global view of what it means to be a human being, I have to eat, I have to drink water. Again, the most basic sense, right? And then culturally, and geographically, there might be different things that are specific to location. So, it's one cut deeper, you know, and as we go farther and farther, become more and more specific. It's like looking at this under a microscope. So that's that same self-similar repeating pattern. So, a framework is a collection. It's an ideology. It's a set of rules that governs the way that we think. So, what I said earlier was, it's a life that was created for us that we don't even question. So, there's a structure to it. And we're born into it, then knowing what we know, from the human-machine episodes with the way our brains work. Our brains are machines of association, and 90% of our personality is developed in the first seven years of life. And then 95% of the time, as adults, we're replaying those programs that were learned in that time period, you know, again, referencing we don't know what we don't know, because we're checked out the majority of the time, and we simply buy into this, this construct of what's going on around us. So, one of the things that I like to use this concept of the framework is my reference of an Einstein quote, and I do this one all the time and am paraphrasing, but it's, you know, it's still Einstein. So, it makes you sound maybe smarter than you are. You can't solve a problem from the same thinking that created it. Now, why is that important, in this context of a framework, and this is something I began to recognize and work with people. This is the whole underpinning of this. But the thing that people do.  So, the framework, it also includes your self-beliefs and all these preset subconscious programs. And so, it's a combination of our identification of self, and then this cultural framework that we live in. So that's how we define our reality. So, if I'm hit with a new piece of information, I'm not able to absorb that oftentimes, or the great majority of the time, as truth. Because first I have to bounce it off my individual self-beliefs. And then how does this fall within the generally accepted framework that I'm living in?

So, a problem cannot be solved from the same thing in the creative it? So how I use this in the Para-physical model, is we first have to identify all the inherent limitations of the framework that we currently live with it. In other words, all the things that we're not currently happy with. And I've talked about this before, when I do life coaching, one of the first things we do when we sit down is, I ask them, okay, what are the things that you want to create change around and to list all their complaints and all these things? And I'll start by saying. Great, how many times per week do you train? Well, I go to the gym three times a week. Alright, great, but that's not what the question was. Oh, what was the question? How many times do you train? Why go to the gym? Great. How about mental training? You mean like psychology? Well, maybe meditation? Maybe? Oh, zero. All right. How about emotional training? What's that? Even less than zero for most people. How about you? What do you do for your energetic base? So, in other words, we're stuck in this framework, we can identify the things that are wrong. Yeah, since we don't know what we don't know, we're locked into this construct of not even challenging any of it. And we're also so locked into this, that we don't even consider training in any of these places to create change. We're so tied to this construct this framework that we are our physical bodies, that we think the only way to create change is in the physical. So that's how some of this works. And this all largely has to do with self-beliefs, because a self-belief is a huge part of your framework. Later, we're going to go into the veneer of reality and see how that works. That's a little bit more individualized. So, we have a technology that comes out of Diablo barbell, soon to be Lifted Academy, right, called the Emotional Sobriety curriculum. And that's becoming a very large movement headed by Dr. Andrew Vitz. And I frequently say I believe it's the most important movement of our time, because it is the only protocol that currently exists in my estimation, that allows you to find your core challenges in life by identifying your limiting self-beliefs, learning step by step how to eliminate those limiting self-beliefs and then reconstruct your life through a chosen set of identity traits. So, we examine the framework as it is, we discard that in its entirety, and we install a new framework.  That has to be done before any new learning can happen. If you continue to try to add new information into the old framework, nothing new is going to happen. It goes through all the filters in our brain and in our awareness. And we're just thinking relationally. The brain is a machine of association so it takes in information and we instantly start with the yeah but on anything that is contrary to one of our preset subconscious programs.
